Angel's Rest - June 22
4.8 miles round trip
This hike is relatively steep as it climbs through wooded areas and eventually out in the open near the summit of Angel's Rest where there are great vistas of the Columbia River Gorge and the surrounding mountains.
Elk Meadows - July 27
6.2 miles round trip
This hike is an enjoyable summer hike with outstanding views and floral displays.
Burnt Lake - August 10
6 miles round trip
This hike begins as a gentle walk through a dense & beautiful rain-forest environment before making a giant switchback and gaining elevation. Don't worry, the lake & view is totally worth it!
McNeil Point - September 28
9.8 miles round trip
In season, this trail is a floral paradise. Hike through forests, meadows, wild flowers, ponds, and even a little snow! Explore the old shelter at the top of McNeil ridge and if you're still feeling ambitious afterwards, finish the 800+ ft climb to McNeil Point for a jaw-dropping view. This is one of the most beautiful hikes in all of the Mt Hood Wilderness/Portland area.
